エアテーブル上の空気噴出量の勾配による盤上物体移動制御手法

Abstract

We have proposed a method of controlling object movement on a board using an air table as a means of realizing position control of objects in real space by computer. Our method aims to move objects in real space using changes in air jet volume by controlling changes in the area of holes for air jets in the air table. In this paper, we first create a prototype of an air table with a playing card as an example of a moving object in order to investigate the possibility of object movement using a gradient of air jet volume. The prototype is equipped with three different areas of holes for air jets, and experiments are conducted to evaluate the movement of objects on the board by gradients in air volume. As a result, the movement of the object on the board was confirmed under certain conditions, including the weight and size of the object to be moved and the spacing of the holes for the air jets.
