照度センサに基づくストライプ状LED群の形状推定手法

Abstract

This study present a shape estimation method for CoiLED Display, a flexible display that can be wrapped around an object, using an illumination sensor. After the unit is wrapped around an object, it is necessary to estimate the position of the LEDs. In this research, an illuminance sensor is attached to the unit, and the position of the LED is estimated from the illuminance obtained by turning on the LEDs that make up the unit. We compared the estimation accuracy with the number of illuminance sensors on cylinders, cones, spheres, and hyperbolic surfaces as objects to which the unit is wrapped. As a result, the accuracy was improved with 5 to 7 illuminance sensors for cylinders, cones, and spheres, and with 6 to 7 illuminance sensors for hyperbolic surfaces
