Abstract
The demand for strength training at gyms has increased with the growing awareness of health. However, beginners often find it difficult to maintain proper form, and a lack of focus can reduce training effectiveness and increase the risk of injury. This study proposes a support system using BITalino electromyography (EMG) and electrooculogram (EOG) sensors to monitor muscle activity and mental concentration in real time while training in front of a mirror. The system analyzes muscle activation during arm curls and side raises and detects events where the gaze shifts away from the mirror. It provides some audio feedback during training and visualizes muscle activity and eye movement after training to help users improve their form and concentration. By combining physiological and mental monitoring in real time and providing post-training feedback, the system aims to support safer and more effective strength training. This approach promotes better awareness, correct technique, and sustainable workout habits.
